Young’s Welding, Inc. is a steel fabricator doing custom work for construction contractors to include structural steel, duct work, stacks, elbows, and transitions for all manner of industrial systems for cement, chemical or other bulk processing plants.  Our OEM products are brush grabbers, root grapples, commercial trailers and oil field pump jacks.

Young’s Welding, Inc.’s operational focus is both local and regional.  While the company maintains a local repair and fabrication component for its neighbors in Chanute and Southeast Kansas, continued expansion of capacity and the addition of increasingly sophisticated equipment have led to a base of customers that stretches across 48 states. 

The major items of our equipment are as follows:

• A custom powder coat facility capable of parts 5’ X  9’ X 40’ X 3,000lb.  Surface preparation by acid clean, etch and sandblast if required.  Our system has an in-line shot blaster as well.
• A 2,000 watt Mazak laser accurate to + or -.0004” over 20” with productions cut capacity of 3/8” carbon plate 5’ X 10’.
• A 4,000 watt Tanaka laser accurate to + or - .004” over 40” with production cut ¾” plate up to 10’ X 44’.
• A Messer Metal Master + 8 cutting system- 400 AMP Hyper Therm with an 8’ X 42’ table capable of cutting 3” thick metal.
• A High Bay Robotic Welding Cell- Envelope of 10’ X 14’ X 85’.  With a 675 amp pulse welder.
• A Pullmax 12’ by 350 ton,16 axis press brake.  Accuracy to + or - .004”.
• A 250 ton press brake and a 7 axis 125 ton press brake.
• A 5” X 5” X ½” angle iron roll.
• A plate shear capable of 3/8” X 12’ carbon steel.
• A 6” X 6” X 5/8” X 40’ angle shear and punch machine.
• Hem saw from 60 degrees to 90 degrees cut up to 22” X 24”.  VT140 HA-60
• A Davi Four roll initial & post pinch plate rolls 10’ X ½”. 36 kip material
• Up to 120 tons of iron worker capacity.
• Our facility has 144,000 square feet under roof on 30 acres.
• We will work from your sketch or detailed drawing.
• We maintain several 80,000 GVW tractor trailers to deliver your products to your site.
• Up  to 25 ton yard crane capacity.
• Akyapak Drill line w/ mitter saw, 3 drill spindles, 3000rpm, Beam capacity 42" X 18".
